My name is Annica Skeppstedt and I am the owner of the cattery name S*Trizzirags. I live with my husband Mats and our four cats in Merlänna, which is about 10 km south of the town of Strängnäs, and about 80 km west of Stockholm. The first time I heard about the Ragdoll breed was already in 1991 and then I decided that "one day I will have a cat like that". But since we already had two "alley cats" and a dog, it had to remain a dream for the time being. In the summer of 2001 we became "animal-less", and again started thinking about a Ragdoll. We contacted several breeders, but came to realize that it wasn't that easy finding a kitten for sale. Most were already reserved, but finally there was a little blue mitted male for us with Cecilia and Ronny, owners of S*Minami no. In January -02 we finally got S*Minami no Hitachi. Soon it became obvious that he needed a "buddy". We got in touch with Åsa, who owns S*Heros, and in May of the same year S*Heros Herodes moved in. A year later we bought our first female, S*Heros Milena, and suddenly there were plans for a cattery of our own! From Milenas first litter we just had to keep Madonna. She had her first litter in July 2007. We strive to breed big, healthy, "cool" Ragdolls with good temperament. Our kittens will primarily be sold as pets/family members, but hopefully also for show and breeding. We want our cats to be kept as indoor cats and to be insured for veterinary costs and lifeinsured. Continued contact with the new owner(s) is a matter of course for us. It goes without saying that you are welcome to visit us and our cats. If there is something you are wondering about, or just want to talk, give us a call. Every now and then we go to cat shows. We enjoy meeting other "cat people" and, naturally, seeing many fine cats. Maybe we'll meet at a show somewhere, sometime!
